RSS in Plain English
This video is awesome… we’ve all seen the “whiteboard genre” before but this one is particularly effective in my opinion, an observation borne out of many attempts to explain RSS to my mom.

Attention Data : Users vs. Content
I just posted what I think is a good discussion about attention data and what it means over on the EnterpriseRSS blog. The topic itself is kind of vague even though it’s actually a pretty simple set of concepts.
There is a lot of good stuff happening in this area and at least 15 very interesting […]
UI Obsessiveness Pays Off
One of the things you learn quickly about Brent Simmons is that there is no detail too small to not warrant an inordinate amount of attention to getting it just right. This attention to detail pays off, NNW consistently ranks as one of the most popular Mac applications.

Converting the Faithful
When I joined NewsGator I understood that the company was not only a big Windows shop but also relied heavily on Microsoft foundation technologies. I also established early on that I wasn’t leaving my MacBook Pro at home, so the company’s Mac user population doubled overnight (Brent Simmons is, obviously, a Mac user).
Well I’m happy […]
