Great news indeed, although after reading the story I am left with the question of how did Global Crossing and Hurricane Electric not know the extent of McColo’s activities… it’s kind of like those stories about meth labs being shut down and some random neighbor saying “well yeah it smelled really bad and there were people coming and going at all hours of the night but we didn’t suspect anything”.

For the past four months, Security Fix has been gathering data from the security industry about McColo Corp., a San Jose, Calif., based Web hosting service whose client list experts say includes some of the most disreputable cyber-criminal gangs in business today.
