While this chart could easily be mistaken for K-12 student performance, it’s actually measuring tax competitiveness across 50 states. W00T! California beat New York and New Jersey! All humor aside, it’s worth reading this research because it clearly identifies how the corporate, individual, sales, and payroll taxes conspire to frustrate businesses who wish to expand.
