And then there was this press release emailed to me this morning:
Transom Capital Group announced today that it has acquired The Midwest Center for Stress and Anxiety (MWC). MWC is the leading provider of self-help and coaching programs to people who suffer from stress, anxiety, and depression.
Given the events in the financial markets this year, a stress and anxiety business is probably a pretty good one to get into for a private equity firm, plus they will get complimentary services for their own use and that alone could be worth it.
