Michael Dukakis, a former Massachusetts governor, says he’s “baffled” why Barack Obama’s campaign has not turned his grass-roots following into a more powerful ground organization.
Because if there’s anyone you want to call on for campaign advice, Dukakis would be on that shortlist considering the bang up job he did in 1988.
Maybe get Walter Mondale on board too, and while Obama is at it, he can get Zbigniew Brzezinski to channel Neville Chamberlain for foreign policy advice and John Kerry as head speechwriter. I’m baffled why Obama doesn’t go with “0-8″ Bob Shrum to manage his campaign.
