The theme music from The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly is an original score by Hugo Montenegro, my list was popular music adapted to movies so it doesn't qualify. Re the Bond movies, I know they make a big deal about what is selected but I have to say that I've never found the music outside of the original scores to be that good. Hey Vinnie,

It's an adaptation of Apocalypse Now but a damn good one. That movie is so powerful that just watching it takes a lot out of me. Similar in tone to the Apocalypse Now scene but hearing that wailing guitar against the chopper blades while seeing those guys faces gives me chills. Subnote-- SRV was killed in a helicopter crash shortly before the actual battle portrayed in the movie.
