		<description>yeah Vinnie, they sold those .02 cent miles and convert them into a 25,000 mile ticket for a &quot;retail value&quot; of $500 for a ticket that has a base cost of $25-50. Shrewd. And with the &quot;redemption fee&quot; they charge you for the miles ticket, it probably doesn&#039;t cost them anything to fly you. They earn $500 for a ticket that costs them $25 to fulfill (without a fee) and then take years to redeem it. 

Then there is that whole issue of expirations.</description>

		<description>not so sure Jeff..an airline exec told me there are 20 trillion unredeemed miles and growing exponentially as non-airline credits (like from affinity cards) pile up...in mean time domestic seat capacity has shrunk, and airlines want double miles any more to even honor awards...unless that currency can be used to trade more than airline seats (it can to buy merchandise but not at reasonable conversions)it is a devalued currency...any one who acquires that sub should carefully take a look at the  unextinguished liability and already questionable customer loyalty</description>
