Mike,
Do you think younger generations have better filtering as part of the consumption pattern... in other words, are we evolving to make faster determinations about what bits to store versus pass through?

I can scan content like crazy, I just don't know if it's doing me a lot of good.

I like the portable on demand, it really started with Tivo in a manner of speaking even though it's not portable in the sense that we understand it today.

couple comments jeff...

watching my teens and their friends, i can see them saturated, but not to the super level yet - and most is blended consumption, tv on split screen w/ a video game, surfing the web while watching tv, listening to music while reading (summer reading list ya know) - but then they'll completely shut them all down and go skate or swim or something physical, and this is not because we nag them, they just seem to know they need a break and take it naturally - they are a new breed of media interactors, getting their multi-tasking attention will be the key to some media entities survivability...

i'm sure its buried inside the survey, but podcasts aren't sitting on arses necessarily - "portable on demand" remember ;)
