Strategies like integrating blogs and social media networking into Corporate activities ought to have the strategic goal of liberating employees from the CEO, the hierarchy, the 'corporate speak' - even while motivating, incentivizing and rewarding these freed employees for peformance that is in accord with corporate goals. i.e. not supervising them, as much as rewarding or 'reinforcing' them for task and goal-achievements, using these new media.

The great challenge we face when recommending clients an integrated social media campaign is to filter as many social sites as we possibly can and make our client focus their efforts on those that are worth (directly related to their message.)

It is a big challenge. Many times they come back saying they don't have enough time to participate in that many communities.
