		<description>They only produced a couple thousand for the first run, thinking the expensive computer might be pretty niche but sold 3x what they produced in just the first month.

I would bet it&#039;s worth a few dollars today... just like the 1967 Corvette 427 big block 4 speed that my father told me was overpriced at $17k in 1984... that car is worth easy $75k right now.</description>

If you dig through some of the old HBS cases on Apple Computer, I think market share of the TRS-80 was something like 80% plus back in the days (don&#039;t quote me on the exact number, but it was very high and showed how something could really go to extinction over time).</description>
