The Future of Enterprise Software

There was an event last week called iMeme and they had an interesting panel with a bunch of very senior enterprise software executives. Here’s Barrons’ coverage of the one panel in particular:

"So, let me get to what is the most interesting takeaway here: enterprise software companies need to figure out a way to make it really simple for people to get the corporate information they want - from inside the enterprise - from both structured and unstructured information, with an interface that is as easy to use as Google or the iPhone. It’s about usability, and comprehensive information access. They have some work to do."

Make it really simple… no shit. If only making it simple was more simple than making it difficult.
