Bring on the structured data >>>

And bring on the 20 million script developers >>>

Thanks for the excellent post Jeff.

"Structured data, exposed as feeds, creates many new opportunities for low cost application development. With upwards of 20 million experienced script developers in the world, there will clearly be a ready supply of professionals capable of working with these new environments."

Hey Jeff - Great writeup! I have one thing to add about Popfly, though. We do indeed offer support for importing data from RSS feeds, but also have native support for calling into Facebook, Twitter, Live Spaces, Flickr, Geonames, World of Warcraft, Weatherbug, Xbox Live, and a ton of other services.

Additionally, we offer a pretty robust extensibility model so that Popfly users can add support for new web services as they see fit.

Cheers,
Aaron
