What&#039;s their strategy to reaching a regional audience instead of just an SF audience (the Merc gets the same question)?

No registration... so what. I just don&#039;t get why that&#039;s a big deal, and you do have to register if you want to post a comment to any of the blogs.

How are they going to create monetary value from their content archive?

Is the Chron in the business of delivering advertising or publishing news stories? Beyond the obvious linkages, how are the two strategies integrated?</description>
