Here's another strike against Greenpeace. "<a href="http://innerdaemon.wordpress.com/2007/04/04/greenpeace-criteria/" rel="nofollow">The Greenpeace report does not scientifically compare the environmental qualities of the products of the different companies, merely the companies’ published policies.</a>"

jeez, wish I knew you were looking for an isight... my wife just sold hers on ebay after getting a new macbook pro. I guess demand is high because she got more for it on ebay than she paid for it!

While last in the US, I wanted to buy an i-Sight for my old PowerBook. It's been withdrawn from Apple stores. Why? Because it was found to contain an unacceptabel high level of potential toxins or some such.

I was also told however that I might find one in the local Macy's. I didn't. It raises a question:

Did Apple simply shift its stock elsewhere while appearing to keep its green creds up?

One point you did miss Jeff. Although Greenpeace shows cmpanies its rating in advance, therre was no note of a right to reply. Even the most die-hard-assed analyst crew does that for its software vendor victims. How up-your-own-ass is that?
