Municipal Wifi Through Sewage Lines

Google’s TiSP home wireless networking system is pretty cool. According to the installation information, the simple approach relies on dropping a weighted fiber optic line into you toilet to have it connect through the backbone running in your city’s sewage system. Brilliant. I would be concerned about brownouts though.
