I was on Bloomingdale’s website today looking up store hours and saw something that reminded me it’s often the very small things that make a difference when it comes to usability.
Notice the store hours information… rather than giving you the standard listing of hours, they put some minimal intelligence into the design by assuming you want the store hours for today, and then giving it to you that way. Nice.
The one thing that could be better is that while I really like that they personalize the operation by giving you the general manager’s name, they should have provided this as a link with her email.
