I think LeWeb3 kinda screwed itself. It was so hyped up beforehand that the large turnout actually made it worse than it should have been. Had it remained more intimate I'm sure many aspects would have been better. I know now after reading many posts that my disappointment mainly stemmed from the high expectations I had going in. Yes, this is probably my fault, but I'm the "customer" for the organiser and I think the feedback being given (although on some blogs very harsh) is just that....feedback. Loic can learn from this and evolve or he can get pissed off....that's his choice. Not enough business focus, little beyhond the consumer, a significant amount of speaker retreading and that ominous politicla thing in the original agenda kinda made it for me. I still applaud Loic for doing what he did - he's been kicking aorund the edge for a while. It didn't come off on this occasion. Which is sad, but the event will evolve.
