I’m perplexed at Kathy being a target when on the list of top people to go after, I doubt she’d be in the first 50 pages (not discrediting her work, she’s brilliant, and gentle, but not the first I’d think would have to deal with this

Jeff,

Great points, Kris made reference to your first point "knowing that our team of 30 constantly watches the "What's New" section of our wiki." and in regards to your second point naturally Socialtexters are very comfortable putting words down on a page - since we work in a collaborative work environment 24/7.

I think the point Kris was really trying to bring across is that the theory of collaboration works, and it works well. Even in environments like SAP it works, the idea that you will be the only one creating your document is long gone.

The first step in that direction was with track changes, when you were editing someone's work - then came we can edit and share and not email. But the best came with - we want it to be fast. We don't want to ahve to wait and share and email. the idea became let's just do it all together and create a best of breed document there is no more my work it's our work. Naturally you have to have group agreement in order to make it work, but don't you need that in every group situation?

Come on embrace the chaos:)
