FT.com / Companies / IT - Apple recall deepens Sony battery crisis: Apple said Sony batteries in some of its older models “had not met Apple standards of performance”. The recall did not apply to newer Apple computers containing Intel microchips. Models affected include Apple’s iBook and PowerBook laptops. I just had issues where my MacBook Pro 15" would shut down in the low 80% range when running on battery power and was about to contact Apple support.
