I'm more mad at my own government for failing to act when it was clear there was a wrong committed against us. It's not a political thing either, despite my admiration for President Reagan I was plenty miffed that he cut and ran from Beirut after the Marines there were murdered.

When will the world learn that appeasement and looking the other way are not going to work as foreign policy.

There's no excuse for the reluctance of any gov't to investigate acts of terrorism against its citizens, but we should learn that interference in Iran's (or any other country's) democratically elected leadership can result in a worse outcome than before. The current situation in Iran is a direct result of regime change in 1953.
