Jot acquired by Yahoo!

Mike heard this rumor as well.
Based on the call I had yesterday about this and the quality of the source, I’d give it better than 85% probability, more like 99%.
So Yahoo! is getting in the wiki space. Given that Jot has pretty much regressed to consumer wikis it makes sense, but at the same time I think Wikispaces or Wetpaint offer better services in the consumer arena than Jot. The one thing that does strike me as a really compelling combination is taking Konfabulator widgets and enabling them in wiki pages.
It’s only a matter of time before consumer services than foster user generated content will embrace wikis, they are the perfect compliment to blogs. The potential for SMB adoption of wikis is also very high and this would compliment Yahoo! small business services. Can you imagine how cool it would be if every business listed in Yahoo! Local had a wiki page attached to it?
