		<description>I don&#039;t think that Google News should be in beta for technical reasons, but I do think the service should be further developed to ensure that the risk of being gamed is reasonable. I think the same for Digg as well. 

The problem that we will see, and are seeing, is that the wisdom of crowds is being automated and taken to an absurd extreme. I&#039;m very concerned about the ability of these services to shape market conversation, but I am not an advocate of simply putting a throttle or governor on them. I would like to see these services develop circuit breakers that have the capacity to identify market gaming and take counter measures.</description>
